This tunnel provides a dedicated and secure passage for your cargo, allowing for swift and uninterrupted access to the harbor facilities. This infrastructure is designed to support heavy transport, making it an ideal choice for industries that require smooth logistical operations.

The PCC silicon metal plant imports raw materials and exports its products with Eimskip shipping through the tunnel and Húsavík harbor. Both Eimskip and Samskip, Iceland’s largest shipping companies, run operations in Húsavík.
