Árbakki, with its abundance of resources and commitment to sustainability, presents a unique opportunity for transformative projects. The collaborative spirit of our community, coupled with the natural gifts of this region, positions Árbakki at the forefront for green industrial innovation in Iceland.
The area is well suited for operations that require 10-20 MW of green electricity. Ventures that can utilise heat and refined CO2 from the silicon metal plant currently operating in the park have a clear advantage.
