We are excited to announce the appointment of Karen Mist Kristjánsdóttir as the Project Manager for Árbakki Eco Park. Set to commence her role on in February 2023, Karen will lead the development of our initiatives, focusing on innovation, climate advocacy, and sustainable energy practices.
Bringing a wealth of expertise, Karen is a bioengineering professional who has recently returned to Iceland after residing in Denmark. Her most recent role as Sales Manager at Alumichen showcased her proficiency in projects related to water purification, water reuse, waste management, and other resource-related endeavors. Karen’s extensive experience in project management and collaboration with stakeholders positions her as a key asset for Árbakki Eco Park.
The new Árbakki venture is a collaborative effort between Norðurþing and Eimur, and Karen will work closely with the Eimur team. Welcome aboard, Karen!
